» What made you decide your profession?
It was a dream that I held with my closest friend. I wasn't allowed to go out much, to do things like normal children were. I was sick. A sort of rare disease that had chosen me since birth. So we both wanted to go into this, to finish our studies and save me and the world.

» How do you like your eggs?
Scrambled.

» Which public figure did you ever look up to or loath with a passion?
I wish I held a better response for this, but I have rarely ever cared for politics whatsoever. So its difficult to really hold such a feeling towards any of them. Can't trust politicians to do more than fill their pockets, so is there ever really want to look up to for more than the finer points and moments they choose to show us or spin the story? Only to wind up with their dirty laundry aired later.

» What part of your childhood can you recall that has had a profound effect on you?
My mother. Forever my mother. She was the overprotective sort, but between her and my grandfather, I couldn't have asked for anything else. I grew up in a bookstore. Every book I ever held, ever picked up, was because of her and they gave me so much more insight than I would have been able to pick up by other means.

» What is your favorite brand of detergent?
Tide.

» Which possessions of yours holds any meaning?
My PhD, next to the Nobel Prize.

» What was childhood like for you?
Difficult, for many parts, but who doesn't really believe that? At the same time, there was a closeness to my small family. Greeks are more tight knit. And I was able to at least keep to having my closest friend. One of those that you never forget and keep with you throughout your life or theirs.

» What type of person would be your ideal mate?
An equal. Someone that is more of a partner. Intelligent and probably holds a little more patience than I deserve.

» Do you currently have a best friend whom you would protect with your reputation or your life?
I do not. The only one that I had, died.

» Have you lost any loves?
A few. I believe they are all dead as well.

» Do you have any dreams or ambitions?
To not ruin anything for anyone. To be able to do my work and right wrongs. To effectly save the world from the microscopic monsters of the world and be left in peace.

» Does you have a “Black-and-White” view of reality or can you see shades of grey?
There's far too much grey, even for as much as I do try to only look at the black and white version of it all. Seen too much to really believe another way. Black and white just makes for something more simplistic.

» Describe your worst nightmares.
As of late, all that went on in Boston during those weeks that no one wants to speak of.

» What is your normal daily routine?
To dive into my work and forget to commit to the regular daily hygiene habits and feeding myself.

» What do you read?
Lately, much of my own notes. But I do read scientific journals, historical books, mythology, and so forth. The newspaper is one of those things that I actually do enjoy, regardless of the good or bad news that lies within it.
